· Keep to approved vehicle tracks. · On beaches and unvegetated sand areas, drive only where permitted. · Avoid alpine areas, swamps and vegetated dunes because they can be easily damaged. · Respect our wildlife. We stop and look, but never disturb or chase animals. As it can affect their survival. · Keep the environment clean by taking our rubbish home and some times other peoples. · Keep to all fire restrictions. Extinguish our fire before leaving. · Keep to the restrictions on use of public land. · Respect national parks and other conservation areas. · Get permission before driving on private land. Leave livestock alone and gates as found. · Take adequate water, food, fuel and spares on all trips. · Respect other recreationalists right to peace and solitude in the bush. · Respect the cultural, heritage and environment values of public and private land by obeying restrictions that may apply. · Keep vehicle mechanically sound and clean to reduce environmental impact. · Adopt minimal impact camping and driving practices. · Plan ahead and lodge your trip attendance with the trip leader or trip coordinator. · Help in bush fire emergencies and search and rescue, if you are properly equipped and able. · There shall be NO wilful destruction of living trees, shrubs or wildlife · Drinking and Driving do not mix. Alcohol should be kept for around the campfire when the day’s driving is finished. · Bad language will not be tolerated · No fire arms shall be taken on any club outing. · All dogs are to be kept under control in and around campsites or around people when eating at refreshment breaks. |
